How to play Sentence Building

  1. Step 1. Gather your group: Pairs / Groups of 3. No materials needed.
  2. Step 2. Explain the rules clearly. Give groups a set of word cards (nouns, verbs, adjectives). They arrange them into sentences, then create questions and negatives from those sentences.
  3. Step 3. Start the activity and keep time (15 min).
  4. Step 4. Debrief: ask students what they learned or enjoyed.
