How to Play
- Generate ocean cards: Create bingo cards with sea life vocabulary on each square.
- Print and distribute: Give each student a card with blue or green markers for an ocean feel.
- Call the words: Read a sea creature name or describe it. "This is the largest animal on Earth and it lives in the ocean — blue whale!"
- Students find and mark: Students locate the word on their card and cover it.
- Bingo! First student to complete a line calls "Bingo!" and reads their winning sea life words.

Ocean Habitat Discussion
When each animal is called, discuss where it lives in the ocean. "Dolphins live near the surface in warm water. Sharks can be found at every depth of the ocean."
Conservation Angle
Use bingo as a springboard for ocean conservation discussions. "Coral reefs are endangered. Here are three things we can do to help protect them."
Food Web Connections
After the game, challenge students to create a simple ocean food web using the creatures from bingo. This extends learning beyond vocabulary into ecology.
