Science Connection Tips

Planet Facts Round

After each word is called, share a quick planet fact. "Saturn — its rings are made of ice and rock and are thousands of miles wide." Students learn while they play.

Solar System Unit Tie-In

Use space bingo as an introduction or review activity for a solar system unit. The vocabulary on the cards reinforces what students are learning in class.

Order of Planets

Challenge students to name the planets in order from the sun after calling each one. This reinforces the sequence: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

Number Generator for Distance

Use our number generator to create fun space math problems: planet distances, moon counts, or years for each planet's orbit.
