Weather Bingo Cards
Bring the skies into your classroom with weather bingo. A fun way to teach cloud types, seasons, precipitation, and weather vocabulary while playing a classic game.

Sky & Clouds

How to Play
- Generate weather cards: Create bingo cards with weather vocabulary on each square.
- Print and distribute: Hand out cards with blue or gray markers for a sky-themed feel.
- Call the words: Read a weather word or give a clue: "This is a big rotating storm with very strong winds — tornado!"
- Students mark: Students find the word on their card and cover it.
- Bingo! First student to complete a line calls "Forecast complete!" and reads their winning words.
Weather Learning Ideas
Daily Weather Journal
Pair bingo with a daily weather journal. Students observe the sky each morning, log conditions, and connect real observations to bingo vocabulary.
Weather Station Tie-In
Set up a classroom weather station with a thermometer, wind vane, and rain gauge. Use bingo to reinforce the terms students observe at the station.
Season Sorting
Divide words into seasonal categories. After each call, students discuss which season the weather belongs to. Great for grades K-2 science standards.
Weather Reporter Round
After marking a word, students stand up and give a short weather report: "Today is sunny and warm!" Builds speaking confidence alongside vocabulary.
